Women's healthcare continues to be challenged by clinical controversies and enriched by new therapeutic interventions. It is imperative that healthcare professionals remain educated in all aspects of their patients' care, from the clinical to the behavorial. This knowledge-based activity is designed to provide healthcare professionals with the most current treatments and trends in women's health.

Describe the broad spectrum of perimenopause to postmenopause.
List the correlation between oral health and chronic disease states.

Examine the importance of physical activity and how it relates to the aging process.
Name the primary risk factors for stroke in women.
Identify current diagnostic and therapeutic trends in HIV.
Discuss alternative medications for treatment of common female health concerns.
Interpret current guidelines related to the treatment of urinary incontinence, overactive bladder and interstitial cystitis in the clinical setting.
