Certificates for Credit

Certificates for Credit

Most events and courses offer some form of CE credit. Some events offer physical certificates at the event or will mail them post event. Most of our online courses have certificates on demand once the requirements of the course have been met successfully.

What are CEUs?

In 1970 a national task force of volunteers met to establish a form of credit for continuing education different from the semester system used in higher education. That credit was named the "Continuing Education Unit" and has come to be known as the "CEU". A CEU is defined as:

"Ten contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction."

First-time users please note: Online registrations are typically approved within 24 hours. If you register for the first time, complete a course, and request certificate you may find that your certificate will not be available right away. Please log out and log back in after a few hours so that we have time to process your initial registration.

How to generate your online certificate

  1. Log in to the system (at left) then click My Courses under My CE Profile.
  2. Click or tap on event.
  3. Check session status for messages and respond accordingly.
  4. If Session Passed then click Get certificate link.
  5. Select credit options and other settings as appropriate then generate the certificate PDF file.
  6. Save or print the file for your records.
